Jo has been active in masters boxing in Australia since discovering the appeal and physical toughness of traditional boxing gyms in 2008. She has partnered with Jack Boote to present Queensland Masters Boxing Titles and Pan Pacific Masters Games since 2016 and was on the working committee of Boxing South Australia for the 2018 Australian Masters Games in Adelaide. Jo takes charge of social media branding for the group. She is the main Administrator of the Masters Boxing Australia Inc Facebook group (formerly Queensland Masters Boxing Titles) and has been integral to its growth.

"Been around boxing since before I could walk as my Nan and Pop were both life members of Boxing Qld and my Dad was also a boxer. Had my first fight at 10 years old and had nearly 150 fights since then. Been a boxer, trainer, promoter and official in the professional ranks and now an official in the amateurs and masters boxing." As an MBA Referee and Judge, Chris Fox brings his passion for boxing and boxers to every bout. His characteristic style of reffing brings an energy and immediacy that infuses the boxers with motivation, while providing an entertaining spectacle for everyone ringside. Chris' experience and love of the sport is evident in everything he does and this is a perfect fit with the MBA brand of Australian masters boxing.
Mark O'Brien
Treasurer
Mark is a Chartered Accountant with a broad management background. He has been a Chief Financial Officer within the public sector and held executive finance positions in oil and gas. Mark has a very active interest in combat sports, particularly Boxing and Muay Thai.
Mark has been an MBA supporter and a lover of masters boxing since he participated in the running of the last Pan Pac Games. The diversity of participants impressed him along with the whole comradery generated by a shared interest in boxing and fitness. MBA is special because it does an amazing job bringing people together of all ages to participate in exercise and sport. Mark believes sport shouldn’t just focus on young people. Everyone can use the benefit of exercise and participation for both physical and mental health.

My name is Ann Fisher and my partner Luke Kearney is a Master’s Boxer who has won WBF World Titles, Pan Pacific Titles x 4 Gold and Silver, Australian Titles, Super 8 Titles, and Golden Gloves Titles in his divisions as well as off to Germany in Oceania Team. Also, that there is Luke’s son who is also an Amateur Boxer who is already an Australian Champion in U19 Super featherweight. Nothing but a lot for boxing for me LOL.
So, I am their Manager/Organiser/Food Coach plus more for these two, if possible, Haha.
Daily life for our company of LA Home Services which I'm secretary + organiser for of materials etc etc whilst getting to improve people’s outdoor living to their homes and happier living.
Our side hobby is British Bulldog Breeding which is not long been getting under way and a bit more joy.
Being involved or helping others to achieve goals is always a good thing.
